Student Enrollment

Thank you for considering Newaygo Public Schools.  We are happy that you have chosen NPS.  Below are some questions & answers regarding residency and enrollment.  If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us!

Q:  I am interested in enrolling my student(s) at NPS.  What do I need to do?
A:  Parents who live in the Newaygo Public school district can register their student by       contacting the appropriate school building. Phone numbers are listed at the right. Please note that during the summer, building office staff will return approximately the 2nd week of August.

Q:  I do not live in the Newaygo school district but I live in Newaygo County, and I   would like to enroll my student(s) at NPS.  What do I need to do?
A:  Parents who live in another Newaygo County school district (Fremont, Grant, Hesperia, White Cloud) are too late to apply for the Schools of Choice program. Click here for another option to get a Superintendent Release .

Q:  I do not live in the Newaygo school district, and do not live in Newaygo County, but I would like to enroll my student(s) at NPS.  What do I need to do?
A:  Parents who live in a school district out of Newaygo County (Morley Stanwood, Tri-County) can apply for the Schools of Choice program under Section 105C.  This runs each spring/summer and the deadline is August 31. Schools of Choice Information
