There will be a mandatory meeting during advisory, on Wednesday, in the cafeteria.
Seniors will be meeting in the library at 11:35 on Thursday.
STUDENT COUNCIL MEMBERS
There will be a meeting in Mrs. Grodus’s room at 7:15 a.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
SAT PRACTICE TEST
All 11th grade students will be participating in a practice SAT on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2018 from 8:00 until 12:00 noon. Lists of where students will be testing will be posted in Mr.Horling, Mrs. Spoelma, Mr. Milner and Mrs. Westgate rooms. Juniors should come prepared with pencils and calculators.
A.M. Voc students will NOT be attending VOC on Wednesday, Feb. 21.
SNOWCOMING SPIRIT WEEK IS FEBRUARY 20-24. DRESS UP DAYS:
Monday - No School
Tuesday - PJ Day - School-appropriate PJ's please.
Wednesday - Dress as your favoritie holiday (Easter, Columbus Day, Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, etc.)
Thursday - Safari and Tourist Day
Friday - Black & White Day
SNOWCOMING DANCE INFO
The dance is Saturday, February 24 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m., and it is semi-formal. Guest permission slips are available on the High School webpage or outside Room D246. Completed forms are due to Mr. Milner by Wednesday, February 21.
Tickets will be on sale during lunch on Feb. 20, 21, 22 for $6.00 or can be purchased at the door for $8.00.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes - Everyone is invited - Every Thursday; 7:00a.m. in Ms. Eaton's room.
CAREER TECH 2018-2019
Any sophomores who were absent on Thursday, Feb. 1 who would like to sign up to go to the Voc school next school year, should pick up a Career Tech form from Mrs. Mercer's office door and turn it back into her ASAP.
EARLY COLLEGE 2018-2019
Early College applications for current sophomores are available from Mrs. Mercer in the counseling office. Completed applications are due back to Mrs. Mercer by February 26.
BRAIN FREEZE - ELIMINATE IT - AND HAVE A LITTLE FUN WITH READING!
Join the Library winter reading program, which begins on December 13th and ends on April 23, 2018. Sign up in the library and get a book and your bookmarker.
Here are the rules:
For every 60 minutes of documented reading you may collect a "Lion Pride" pink ticket.
You must be reading a book from our library, the down town library, Fremont Library, or your personal library. No textbooks or magazines.
You must write your name, time in and out on your "Brrrr" bookmark.
Talley up and check in with your teacher, or Mrs. Moore, for your pink "Lion Pride" tickets. Please don't wait until you have 50 hours of time.
The top three readers will win a "Stop Brain Freeze" T-shirt.
