The curriculum at Newaygo Public School is based on the Grade Level Content Expectations (GLCE’s) and High School Content Expectations (HSCE’s) from the Michigan Curriculum Frameworks. Core and non-core curriculum committees meet on a regular basis and curriculum maps have been developed to make sure we are aligned with the Michigan Frameworks and the Michigan Merit Curriculum. These maps are entered at the Newaygo County Regional Services Agency (NC RESA) where a data management system is available for teachers to use to keep track of how well their students are mastering the curriculum.
